I am an NSF Graduate Research Fellow in mathematics beginning my fifth year as a PhD student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I am a student of Pierre Albin.

Last fall I was a member at the Mathematical Science Research Institute, attending the program in Microlocal Analysis

In Spring 2015 I graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz with honors in mathematics.

My interests include spectral theory and geometric analysis. Recently this has involved studying spectral invariants on contact manifolds, with some connections to sub-Riemannian geometry.
